Sun Vista RV Park has eight pickleball courts, five lighted, that provide residents and overnight guests with the opportunity to play competitive and for-fun pickleball in club or open time slots with other players from novice to advanced abilities.

SUN VISTA PICKLEBALL CLUB
Membership fees for the 2023-24 Season is $10.00 per player and are required to participate in club events or access courts during club scheduled play. In addition, a $10.00 court maintenance fee has been implemented this year to offset the costs of court maintenance that is now club responsibility.
Although membership in the club is not compulsory to access courts and play during open time slots it is encouraged.
Benefits of being a member of the club include:
- Play during Club scheduled court time.
- Club purchase discounts for club members at Pickleball Central.
- Purchase pickleballs from the club at a reduced price.
- Being able to play on Tuesday and Friday Round Robin competitions.
- Access Novice and Intermediate Clinics that will be scheduled during the 2023/24 season.
- Access to Ladder Play if numbers and interest warrant.
- Attend Advanced Lessons sponsored by the club when Professional Instructors are in Yuma.
We believe that all residents at Sun Vista should have the opportunity to play in either a recreational or competitive play and that court time should be equitably distributed. As prime time court time, at either the upper or lower courts, becomes over stressed we will be soliciting input from club members to make court access fair for all players in the park.

Upper Courts
Located next to the Fitness Centre are two pickleball courts referred to as the “Upper Courts”. The Courts are lighted for night play.
The Upper Courts are used for Beginner to Novice to Intermediate One scheduled play during Club Time and are available for all Sun Vista Residents and guests to use outside of schedule hours.

Lower Courts
Located in the Fun Park are 6 Pickleball Courts referred to as the “Lower Courts”. Three of the Courts (4-5-6) are lighted for night play.
The Lower Courts are used for Intermediate to Advanced scheduled Club play and are available for all Sun Vista Residents and guests to use outside of schedule hours.
